CNC — Digital Modeling

While Maine Kiln Works / Water Stone Sink is best known for artisan ceramics production—stoneware and porcelain clays are only two of many medias we use to explore and encourage creative expression. We use the hidden portion of our MAKER iceberg to inspire personal growth by blending craftsmanship and technology.

Our extensive woodworking and metalworking workshops contain 8000 square feet of tools, supplies, and equipment from traditional hand-planes, table saws, metal band saws, metal chop saws, wood jointers and planers, drill presses, wood and metal lathes, belt grinder, scroll-saw, TIG, MIG, and Stick welders, CNC machines, and heat-treat furnaces for hardening and tempering tool steel knives and blades. That’s only the tip of our MAKER iceberg—used to inspire personal growth by blending craftsmanship and technology.

“If you can imagine it, we can help you build it—in clay, wood, metal, plastic, digital media, or any unexplored blend or combination of all of those.”
